Case No 15 M/s Paramount Textiles Mills Limited NC No.1/AM12 F.No.01/84/162/473/AM11/DES-V Dated 7.4.2011 Ratification of input output norms in respect of advance authorization No. 3510024718 dated 23,.9.2008 Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda along with other relevant papers and after deliberation in consultation with the representatives of technical authorities present in meeting observed that when the fabric is made out of Cotton, Polyester and Viscose, then the same cannot be classified as Grey Cotton fabric. Hence, Committee was constrained to reject the case.

RLA may take suitable consequential action accordingly.

Ratification of input output norms in respect of advance authorization No. 0310582418 dated 7.7.2001 Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and observed that the case is under examination of DIPP. It was therefore decided to await the same and defer the case for re-listing on 12.5.2011.

Case No. 18 Reference received from PC-IV (B) in respect of M/s Munib Overseas Corporation, Kanpur NC No.1/AM12 F.No.01/84/162/196/AM11/DES-V Dated 7.4.2011 Clarification as to whether the export product’ cotton check sheet. Cotton check pad, cotton traveling boot, cotton winter rug and cotton leg protector are covered under DEPB rate schedule at S. No. 72 and articles made of supreme halter made of polypropylene are covered under DEPB rate schedule at S.No. 13 and P.P tapes with U.V stabilization 2% by weight plain/fabricated (a) P/P poly pad (b) poly traveling boot is covered under DEPB entry S.No. 40 of export product group ‘plastics’. Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda along with other relevant papers and heard Shri. M. Najmi, Partner in the firm, who appeared for personal hearing in this case. Shri M Nazmi was asked to submit any documentary proof showing how their products fall under made- ups category. It was therefore decided to await the same and defer the case for re-listing on 12.05.2011.
