The process of manufacturing was viewed by the team. Considering the recoverable wastage at casting /machining stage only and taking clue from SION C789 the subcommittee proposed to consider 10% wastage in the above case. Based on the report of the Committee, NC decided to modify the norms of above AA as under: The import at Sl No. 1 is allowed with 10% wastage. R/A may take suitable consequential action accordingly.
