  4.     Norms Committee-7 in its Meeting No. 20/AM09 held on 27.08.2008 fixed following adhoc norms:

  4.     Based on above calculations, the quantity comes as under:

  4.     He than pointed out that as per Chartered Engineer Certificate which has been attested by Superintendant Central Excise &

Customs Range, ‘F’ Nasik Division–I, Nasik for the Shipping Bill in question, raw material consumed has been shown as allowed by NC. Thus, this appears to be a mistake in making entries in Shipping Bill. The Committee also noted that Shipping Bill is a prescribed

PRO version document for redemption, and no bond certificate against an Advance Authorization. As such, allowing redemption of Advance Authorization without considering the facts mentioned in the Advance Authorization would require PRC’s relaxation.

  1.     Therefore, NC decided to return the case to Policy Relaxation Committee (PRC).
