Decision: D/o C&PC vide their comments furnished vide OM No. 46011/27/2012-PC-II dated 02.04.2012 stated that the manufacturing process indicated is sorting of synthetic waste, grinding followed by granulation etc. The item of import is carpet cutting waste containing Nylon and other fibers. The composition of synthetic waste can vary including the nylon content and the activity of conversion of nylon waste from textile waste may not be considered a desirable area for such exports. In addition the export product indicated is only Nylon Granules without indicating the re-processed/recycled and copy of export order. The Committee considered the case in light of written comments of D/o C&PC and decided to reject the case.

                   NC also decided to send an e-mail to RLA Ludhiana to cancel this Authorization and not to issue any such

authorization in future.
