Ref. from PC-I in respect of M/s Jaidkha Hosiery Factory, Ludhiana. NC 12/09 dt. 19.06.2008 F.No. 01/94/162/865/AM-07/PC-I Request of M/s Jaidkha Hosiery Factory for redemption of their Advance Licences No. 3310838 dt. 01.02.1990 forwarded by wool & woolen export promotion council. Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and observed that this case has been received from PC-I Section seeking clarification regarding Qty. of dyes consumed for the exported product against Advance Licences No. 3310838 dt. 01.02.1990 issued to M/s Jaidkha Hosiery Factory, Ludhiana. On going through the details, Committee observed that in 29 shipments, the total net weight of exported product is 62483.540 Kgs and total weight of imported items is 82243.661 Kgs. Out of this, the weight of Nylon is 1291.20 Kgs and weight of Wool is 61192.30 Kgs. The Committee, taking cue from SION, J-39 observed that, the weight of dyes consumed may work out - 25.82 Kgs (2% by weight) for Nylon content. Similarly, taking cue from SION, J-172, the weight of dyes may be work out - 917.89 Kgs (1.5% by weight) for Wool content. Thus, the total weight of dyes consumed as per above mentioned SIONs is (917.89 + 25.82 Kgs) 943.71 Kgs. In view of the above, Committee decided to inform PC-I/PC-IV Section/Jt.DG(TM) accordingly for taking necessary action.

M/s K.H.Shoes Pvt. Ltd. NC 12/09 dt. 19.06.2008 F.No. 01/84/50/182/AM-08/DES-V Fixation of input output norms against Advance Licences No.0410091224 dt. 27.09.2007 forwarded by wool & woolen export promotion council. Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and observed that this case has already been rejected by NC in tits meeting held on 04.10.2007 on the ground that there was no substantial manufacturing activities involved in this case. Subsequently, firm vide their letter dated 08.03.2008 have informed that they have already represented vide their 29.11.2007 to review their case. The Committee observed that the letter dated 29.11.2007 under reference has not been received in this office. Hence, Committee decided to maintain rejection in this case.

Firm may be informed accordingly.

M/s Pemi Exports NC 12/09 dt. 19.06.2008 F.No. 01/84/50/284/AM-05/DES-V Re-fixation of input output norms against Advance Licences No.0410062410 dt. 28.09.2004 forwarded by wool & woolen export promotion council. Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda and observed that the case is under examination of DC (MSME). In view of this Committee decided to defer the case for re-listing on 17.07.2008.
