MEETING NUMBER : 43/82‐ALC4/2010 MEETING DATE : 25.01.2011   The Mee򀤁ng No.43/82 in the year 2010‐11 to consider the cases under Duty Exemp򀤁on Scheme (Chapter‐4) of Foreign Trade Policy, 2009‐14 pertaining to products falling in Chapter 29 and 30  scheduled to be held on 25.01.2011 was actually  held on 28.01.2011 under the Chairmanship of Addl DGFT, Shri V.K. Gupta in his chamber.   Following members were present:‐ 1.        Shri Jasbir Singh, I.A., Department of C&PC 2.       Shri M. Mitra, Dy, DCGI, DCGI    3.        Shri D.N. Mathur, Dy.I.A, Department of Pharmaceu򀤁cals 4.        Shri  Krishan Kumar, Dy. DGFT 5.        Shri Shyam Lal, FTDO   At the outset, minutes of Norms Commi쏧ee Mee򀤁ng No. 40/82 dated 04.01.2011, 41/82 mee򀤁ng dated 11.01.2011 and 42/82 dated 18.01.2011   were ra򀤁fied by the Commi쏧ee.

Applica򀤁on under para 4.4.2 of HBP.         Commi쏧ee considered case as per agenda and observed that NOC has been received from Directorate of Vanaspa򀤁, Vegetable Oil and Fats for import of Non Edible Grade Hydrogenated Palm Stearine while the firm has sought for import of Hydrogenated Palm Stearin falling under 15162091 which meant Hydrogenated Palm Stearin Edible Grade. It was, therefore, decided to revert back the NOC to the technical authority to re‐examine the case and also to call for the firm for personal hearing on 22.02.2011. Accordingly, case was deferred for 22.02.2011.
