MINUTES OF EFC NO. 12/AM12 DATED 15.03.2012 Meeting No. 12/AM12 of EXIM Facilitation Committee (EFC) was held on 15.3.2012 in Room No. 04, Udyog Bhawan, New Delhi, under the Chairmanship of Shri D.K. It was brought to the notice of the Committee that in the last EFC meeting held on 16.2.2012, the cases relating to import of Refrigerant Gases and Air conditioners containing R22 Gas were approved with the condition that the quantity and value of the licence to be issued, may be limited to the total turnover for the FY 201011 with 25% increase. Some of the firms have represented that they are the new units having Nil turnover and requested to allow import of these items in limited quantity. The Committee after due deliberations decided that the new unit (1st timers) may be granted permission to import 5000 Nos. of Air conditioners containing Refrigerant Gas, subject to satisfactory physical verification of IEC as per P.C.
