Minutes of the 10th Meeting of the Approval Committee for Sector Specific Special Economic Zone of M/s. Roma Builders Private Limited - SEZ, at Hiranandani Estate, Off. Godbundar Road, Village Kavesar, Thane, under the Chairmanship of Development Commissioner, SEEPZ-SEZ held on 28.04.2023 on Video Conferencing through Cisco WEBEX application.

Agenda Item No. 01: Confirmation of Minutes of the 09th meeting held on 25.11.2022.

     The Minutes of the 09th Meeting held on 25.11.2022 were confirmed with 
consensus.

Agenda Item No. 02 : Tata Consultancy Services Limited – Application for Permission
for setting up Cafeteria at TCS Olympus B, RBPL-SEZ. 
 
         The Unit requested for Permission for setting up Cafeteria at TCS Olympus B,
RBPL-SEZ, Thane at 1st and 2nd floors of the unit as a part of employee welfare activity
and for the wellbeing of their employees working in SEZ Unit. The Cafeterias will be
used exclusively for 12,000 employees expected to be working from their SEZ Unit. Also,
they  have entered into  an agreement  with service  provider, M/s. Cheftalk  Food  &
Hospitality  Services  Private  Limited,  who  will  supply  hygienic  and  quality
foods/beverages to the employees at an agreed rate.  
 
Decision  :- After  deliberations,  the  Committee  deferred the  proposal  of  M/s.  Tata
Consultancy Services for setting up Cafeteria at TCS Olympus B, RBPL-SEZ, Thane in
accordance to the provision of Rule 11 (5) of the SEZ Rules as the Fire NOC for the
place was not specific.
 
    Further, the Committee also directed the Unit to re-submit the proposal and directed
to  Specified  Officer  to  scrutinize  the  proposal  of  the  Unit  for  verification  of  all
compliances. 
 
Agenda Item No. 03 : Tata Consultancy Services Limited – Submission of Registered
Lease Deed. 
 
         The Unit requested for extension of Submission of registered lease deed and
stated that they are not be able to submit the registered lease deed due to delay in
adjudication process with Sub-Registrar office.  
 
Decision :- After deliberations, the Committee approved the proposal and extended the
period  for  six  months  i.e.  upto  31.10.2023  and  directed  the  Unit  to  submit  the
registered lease deed within that period.
 
 
         Meeting ended with the vote of thanks to the Chair.
