AGENDA NOTE FOR CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL COMMITTEE

a. Proposal :- Request of M/s. Nhava Sheva Business Park Private Limited (Co- Developer) located at JNPA – SEZ for Duty free procurement of List of material amounting to Rs. 2,20,00,000/- required for various types of the development of their FTWZ infrastructure for giving required services to their units/clients.

b. Specific Issue on which decision of Approval Committee is required :- Approval of List of materials amounting to Rs.2,20,00,000/- required for the development of their FTWZ infrastructure for giving required services to their units/clients.

c. Relevant provision: Rule 12(2) of SEZ Rules, 2006 – “The Developer shall make an application, after obtaining approval for authorized operation under Rule 9 to the Development Commissioner alongwith the list of goods and services, including machinery, equipments and construction materials required for the authorized operations, duly certified by Chartered Engineer for approval by the Approval Committee”. And also Instruction No. 50, dated 15.03.2010 issued by MOC&I. d. Other Information :

Co-Developer’s Proposal The Co-Developer vide letter dated 10.11.2023 has submitted list of materials amounting to Rs. 2,20,00,000/- required for the development of their FTWZ infrastructure for giving required services to their units/clients. 5 . Certified

by Chartered Engineer? The above said list of goods are certified and confirmed by the Chartered Engineer Mr. Hitesh K. Assar, Registration No. AM- 093601-7 Dated 17.02.2006. 5 . Verification

report from the Specified Officer. The Specified Officer vide letter dated 14.11.2023 has submitted verification report stating that the items as submitted in the list are required for various types of development works of FTWZ, construction are found fit for authorized operations.

        A copy of Co-Developer’s letter dated 10.11.2023 and Specified Officer,

JNPA-SEZ letter dated 14.11.2023 are attached.

   e)  ADC’s Recommendation:
         Proposal of the Co-Developer for approval of List of material amounting

to Rs. 2,20,00,000/- required for the development of their FTWZ infrastructure for giving required services to their units/clients; which are verified by the Specified Officer, JNPA-SEZ; is submitted before the Approval Committee Meeting for consideration in terms of Rule 12(2) of SEZ Rules, 2006 & MoC&I Instruction No. 50, dated 15.03.2010.
