DHL Logistics Pvt. Ltd., has requested approval for additional location admeasuring area of 1,58,714 sq. ft. at WH No: 8, Survey No. 138, Hisa No. 04 A and 04 B at Arshiya FTWZ, Village- Sai, Taluka-Panvel, District- Raigad-410206 and broad banding of services into existing Letter of Approval. b) Specific Issue on which decision of AC is required :- Additional location and broad banding of services into existing Letter of Approval with revision of projection. c) Relevant Provisions:- In terms of Rule 19(2) of SEZ Rules, 2006 - “Provided that the Approval Committee may also approve proposals for broad-banding, diversification, enhancement of capacity of production, change in the items of manufacture or service activity, if it meets the requirements of rule 18”. व) Other Information :

their unit by leasing additional space i.e. Warehouse No - 8 at Arshiya Ltd SEZ. They are currently occupying Warehouse No-4 admeasuring approximately 1,58,714 sq. ft. exclusively. (b) They have taken the additional space of WH No. 8 on lease with the premises of Arshiya FTWZ, Panvel vide lease agreement No. 48AA190315 dated on 27.03.2023 6. e) ADC Recommendation: The Proposal of M/s. DHL Logistics Pvt. Ltd. located at Arshiya FTWZ for approval w.r.t additional location and broad banding of services with revision in projection for remaining 1 year (i.e. 2023-24) and broad-banding of items was scrutinised and following were observed:- (i) The ITC (H) classification of the proposed products and the classification of the products to be sold in DTA after assembly is not indicated. (ii) The existing employment and proposed employment needs clarification. (iii) BIS Registration issued in respect of the proposed goods to be warehoused in Arishya FTWZ. (iv) As regards Form F-1, the Unit is in 57 year of 5 year block period. Therefore the past 4 year details will be as per actual not projection. This needs revision in Form F-1 The above proposal in terms of Rule19(2) of SEZ Rules, 2006 is submitted before the Approval Committee for consideration to subject to the clarification from the unit in respect of (i}, (ii), {iii} and {iv) above.
