Subject: Renewal of ccSP custodianship of M/s. EFC Logistics (T) Pvt. Ltd.

for 10 years regarding.. ** The area measuring approx. 36830 Sqm of Container Freight Station of M/s. EFC Logistics India Pvt. Ltd., located at Veshvi Village. Post: Dighode, Taluka: Uran, Dist.: Raigad, Maharashtra was declared as a "Customs Area" under Section 8 of the Customs Act, 1962 vide Notification No. 08/2015 dated 12.03.2015. M/s. EFC Logistics lIndia Pvt. Lid was appointed as a Custodian for that area under Section 45 (1) & 141(2) of the Customs Act, 1962 vide Notication No. 09/2015 dated 12.03.2015 read with Notification No. 25/2015 dated 09.06.2015 & Notification No. 10/2016 dated 28. 10.2016 for a period of two (02) years. Purther, under the provisions of Regulation 10 of the "Handling of Cargo in Customs Areas Regulations 2009" M/s. EFC Logistics India Pvt. Ltd. was approved as a "Customs Cargo Service Provider for the said Container Freight Station for a period of Two Years vide aforementioned Notification No. 09/2015 dated 13.03.20 15. The same was extended for a period of Five (05) Years vide Notification No. 09/2017 dated 1.8.2017. Subsequently, additional areas were notified vide Notification No. 23/2015 dated 9.6.2015 for approx.. area of 1956 Sqm, vide Notification No. 10/2016 dated 28.10.2016 for approx. area of 8460 Sqm. and vide Notification No. 07/2022 dated 27.01.2022 for approx. area of 7090 Sqm. The total area notified comes to 54336 Sqm. Now, in exercise of the powers conferred on me under Setion 45(1) and 141(2) of the Customs Act, 1962. I Istikhar Baig, Commissioner of Customs, General, Mumbai Zone- 11, Nhava Sheva, hereby appoint M/s. EFC Logistics India Pvn. Ltd, to be the "Custodian" of the imported goods received at the Container Freight Station of M/s. EFC Logistics India Pvt. Ltd., under these goods are cleared for home consumption 2. or are warehoused or are transhipped in accordance with the provisions of Chapter VIII of the customs Act, 1962 for the entire Customs Area of 54336 Sqm. Similarly, M/s. EFC Logistics India Pvt. Ltd., will also be the Custodian of the Export Cargo brought into the said Container Freight Station for examination and stuffing till their exportation through Jawaharlal Nehru Port. 3. Further, in exercise of the powers conferred on me under Regulation 10 of the "Handling of Cargo in Customs Area Regulations, 2009". I. Istikhar Baig, Commissioner of Customs, General, Mumbai Zone 1, Nhava Sheva, hereby approve M/s. EFC Logistics India Pvt. Ltd., as a "Customs Cargo Service Provider" for the entire Customs Area of 54336 Seq. Mtrs of the CFS M/s. EFC Logistics India Pvt. Ltd., subject to the following conditions: (i) The Custodian M/s. EFC Logistics India Pvt. Ltd., approved as Customs Cargo Service Provider for the said CFS shall abide by all the provisions of the Customs Act, 1962. Handling of Cargo in Customs Area Regulations, 2009" and all other regulations, Notifications, Orders issued under the Customs Law or any other law. (i) The duration of the appointment of M/s. EFC Logistics India Pvt. Ltd., as 'Custodian' and as "Customs Cargo Service Provider" shall remain valid for a period of Ten (101 Years from 12.03.2022 till 11.03.2032, provided the validity of the AEO-LO Status of the CFS

If the validity of AEO status granted to the CFS is withdrawn prior to 18.09.2023 or is not extended beyond 18.09.2023, the validity shall be valid for a period of only flve (05) years from 12.03.2022 instead of Ten (10) years. The Custodianship will be valid as above, unless otherwise suspended/ revoked/cancelled prior to the expiry of the said period. (ii) As and when required, the CCSP should provide office space for scanning of Import/ Export documents (iv) The waiver from execution of Bank Guarantee has been' given in terms of regulation 5(3) of HCCAR, 2009 as the CS has been aceredited with AEO-LO status with validity till 18.09.2023. If the validity of AEO status granted to the CFS is withdrawn prior to the 18.09.2023 or is not cxtended beyond 18.09.2023, the CFS shall execute bank guarantee for the amount, as determined, w.e.f. date cf expiry of validity of AEO status. (V) The Commissioner of Customs, (General), JNCH, shall have the right to review the approval as "Customs Cargo Service Provider" before the completion of Ten (10) Years for failure to comply with the provisions of the Customs Act, 1962, in general and/or of "Handling of Cargo in Customs Area Regulations, 2009" or as per directions of the Government of lndia.
