The area admeasuring 36830 SQM of Container Freight Station M /s. EFC Logistics India Pvt. Ltd., located at village: Veshvi, Post: Dighore Tal: Uran. Distt: Raigad, Maharashtra 410 207 was notified as Customs Area under the provision of Section 8 of the Customs Act, 1962 vide CFS Notification No. 08/2015 dated 12.03.2015. M/s EFC Logistics , India Pvt. Ltd. was appointed as a Custodian for that area under section 45(1) & 141(2) of the Customs Act, 1962 and approved as “Customs Cargo Service Provider” for the said © Container Freight Station under the provisions of Regulation 10 of the “Handling of Cargo in Customs Areas Regulation, 2009” vide Notification No. 09/2015 dated 12.03.2015 read with Notification No. 25/2015 dated 09.06.2015 & Notification No. 09/2016 dated 28.10.2016 for a period of two (02) years. The same was extended for a period of five (05) years vide Notification No. 09/2017 dated 01.08.2017. Further, vide Public Notice No. 16/2022 dated 10.03.2022, the CCSP custodianship was extended for Ten (10) years subject to the validity of AEO-LO status of the CCSP. Subsequently, additional areas were notified vide Notification No. 23/2015 dated 09.06.2015 for an area of 1956 SQM, vide Notification No. 10/2016 dated 28.10.2016 for an area of 8460 SQM, vide Public Notice 38/2024 dated 15.04.2024 for an area of 15263.43 SQM. The total notified area comes to | No. 07/2022 dated 27.01.2022 for an area of 7090 SQM and vide Public Notice No. | e 69599.43 SQM. | 2. Further, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 45(1) and 141(2) of the Customs Act, 1962, I, D. S. Garbyal, Commissioner of Customs (NS-Gen), JNCH, Nhava Sheva, hereby appoint M/s. EFC Logistics India Pvt. Ltd. to be the ‘custodian’ of imported goods received at the Container Freight Station of M/s EFC Logistics India Pvt. Ltd. until these are cleared for home consumption or are warehoused or are transshipped in accordance with the provisions of Chapter VIII of the Customs Act, 1962 for the Customs Area of 69599.43 SQM. Similarly, M/s EFC Logistics India Pvt. Ltd. shall also be the ‘Custodian’ of the export cargo brought into said freight station for examination and stuffing till their exportation through Jawaharlal Nehru port. 3. Further, in exercise of the powers conferred on me under Regulation 10 of the “Handling of Cargo in Customs Areas Regulation, 2009” , I, D. S. Garbyal, Commissioner of Customs (NS-Gen), JNCH, Nhava Sheva, hereby approved M/s. EFC Logistics India Pvt. Ltd.

The Commissioner of Customs (General), JNCH shall have the right to review the approval as Customs Cargo Service Provider before the completion of said period for failure to comply with the provisions of the Customs Act, 1962, in general and/or "Handling of Cargo in Customs Area Regulations, 2009” or as per directions of the Government of India.
