No S/5-Gen-86/2007 P &E JNCH PUBLIC NOTICE N0. 3 3 /2022 The CFS M/s. International Cargo Terminals and Infrastructure Private Ltd. (erstwhile U.L.A.) located at Sector 8, Dronagiri Node Opp. Bhendkhal village, Taluka Uran, Dist. Raigad, Maharashtra 400707, comprising an area of 20001.033 Sq. Mts., was declared as Customs Area vide Notification No. 4/2003 dated 19.03.2003. Subsequently, an additional area of 4037.50 Sq. Mts. phase II of the said CFS located adjacent to the above CFS was declared as Customs Area vide Notification No. 1/2005 dated 02.02.2005. An additional area of 13,300 Sq. Mts. of International Cargo Terminals and Infrastructure Private Ltd. and forming part of phase lI of the said CFS and located adjacent to the above CFS was declared as Customs Area vide Notification No. 8/2005 dated 21.06.2005. Further, an additional area of 12,660.84 Sq. Mts. of phase II of the said CFS along with the total area of phase I & Phase II totally measuring 49,999.373 Sq. Mts. of Container Freight Station of M/s. International Cargo Terminals and Infrastructure Private Ltd. (erstwhile U.L.A.) was declared as a Customs Area Under Section 8 of the Customs Act 1962 vide Notification No.03/2006 dated 16.02.2006. M/s. International Cargo Terminals and Infrastructure Private Ltd. (erstwhile U.L.A.) was appointed as a Custodian under Section 45 of the Customs Act, 1962 vide Notification No. 06/2003 dated 19.03.2003 which was further amended vide Notification No. 09/2005 dated 21.06.2005 and Notification No. 04/2006 dated 16.02.2006 appointing them as a Custodian for the total area of 49,999.373 Sq. Mts. Further, M/s. International Cargo Terminals and Infrastructure Private Ltd. (erstwhile U.L.A.) was appointed as a Custodian and the Customs Cargo Service Provider for that area vide Notiífication No. 12/2010 dated 15.03.2010 for a duration of 5 years under Section 45 of Customs Act, 1962 & Regulation 10 of the HCCAR, 2009. The duration of the appointment of M/s. International Cargo Terminals and Infrastructure Private Ltd. (erstwhile U.L.A.) as a Custodian and as CSP was further extended for five years from 15.03.2015 vide Notification No. 03/2015 dated 18.02.2015, which was further extended vide Notification No. 91/2020 dated 27/07/2020 for a period of 5 years from 15.03.2020.

Thereafter, M/s. International Cargo Terminals and Infrastructure Private Ltd. (erstwhile U.L.A.) applied for the change in name to the Inter Ministerial Committee (IMC) The proposal for the change of name was approved by the Inter Ministerial Committee (IMC) in the meeting dated 27.04.2016 from M/s. United Liner Agencies of India Pvt. Ltd. to M/s. International Cargo Terminals and Infrastructure Private Ltd. as communicated vide letter F.No. 16/20/1997-infra-1(Vol.HI) dated 09.05.2016. Accordingly, Notification No. 12/2010 dated 15.03.2010 issued under Section 8 of the Customs Act, 1962 and 03/2015 dated 18.02.2015 issued under Section 45 (1) & 141 (2) of the Customs Act, 1962 and Regulation 10 of the Handling of Cargo in Customs Areas Regulation 2009 are hereby amended to the extent of change of name of the CFS as M/s. International Cargo Terminals and Infrastructure Private Ltd. instead of Ms. United Liner Agencies of India Pvt. Ltd. Now, M/s. International Cargo Terminals and Infrastructure Private Ltd. have applied for change in the name from M/s. International Cargo Terminals and Infrastructure Private Ltd. to M/s. J M Baxi Ports & Logistics Ltd. T hereby approve the proposal for the change of name and accordingly, Notification No. 12/2010 dated 15.03.2010 issued under Section 8 of the Customs Act, 1962 and Notification No. 91/2020 dated 27.07.2020 issued under Section 45(1) and 141(2) of the Customs Act, 1962 and Regulation 10 of the Handling of Cargo in Customs Areas, Regulations, 2009 are hereby amended to the extent of change of name of the CFS as M/s. J M Baxi Ports & Logistics Ltd. instead of Mis. International Cargo Terminals and Infrastructure Private Ltd. from the date of issue of this Public Notice o 2 (ISTIKHAR BAIG) Commissioner of Customs (General), Mumbai, Zone-II, JNCH. Copy to:
