Subject: Amendment in the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Programme

Circular No. 33/2016 dated 22/7/2016 – reg.

Attention of all Custom House Agents, Exporters, Importers, Logistic Provider (e.g. Carrier, Freight Forwarders), Custodian, Terminal Operators and any other involved in International supply chain is invited to the Board Circular No. 33/2016- Customs, dated 22-7-2016 as amended by Board Circular No. 3/2018- Customs, dated January 17, 2018(available at: http://www.cbec.gov.in/Customs-Circulars-Instructions ) on the above mentioned subject. 2. In continuation to Public Notice No. 16 and 17 of 2018 both dated 25.01.2018 issued on the above mentioned subject the kind attention is drawn towards provisions contained in para 2.4 of Circular No. 03/2018-Customs, dated 17.01.2018. 3. All concerned are requested to file application with Nodal Officer-AEO, Office of the Chief Commissioner of Customs, Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Nhava Sheva, Tal:- Uran, Dist: Raigad, Pin – 400 707 with copy to AEO Programme Manager, Directorate of International Customs, 10th Floor, Tower II, Jeevan Bharti Building, Connaught Place, New Delhi – 110001. 4. Further, for query/doubt, if any, the Nodal Officer-AEO, CCO, Zone-II, Shri R.K. Singh, Joint Commissioner of Customs, may be contacted over Mob. No. 9967704908.
Also, Shri C.P. Singh, Dy. Commissioner of Customs (Mob. No. 9819193032) has been nominated as the Client Relationship Manager for all the AEO entities in the jurisdiction of JNCH. 5. Action to be taken in terms of decisions taken in this Public Notice should be considered as standing order for the purpose of officers and staff.
