Subject: Standard Operating Procedure in respect of import of

Denatured Ethyl Alcohol (DEA) in Customs Bonded Warehouse – reg. Attention of all concerned is invited to Public Notice No. 12/2025 dated 27.07.2025, issued from this office prescribing the procedure for import and warehousing of Denatured Ethyl Alcohol (DEA). 2. In continuation of the aforesaid Public Notice, it is hereby clarified that in Para 2.3 of the said Public Notice, the words “Bond Officer” wherever appearing shall be read as “Docks Examination Officer.” 3. As all relevant data and records are now being maintained in the EDI system, the requirement prescribed under Para 2.4 of the said Public Notice shall stand diminished. 4. All other instructions and procedures laid down in Public Notice No. 12/2025 shall remain unchanged. 5. Difficulties, if any, faced in implementation of this Public Notice may be brought to the notice of the undersigned on email ID: commr-cusmundra@nic.in. This is issued with the approval of the Commissioner of Customs, Customs Mundra.
