DGFI on 14.08.2018 in Udyog Bhavan, New Delhi to consider the applications for export of SCOMET items. 2. Altogether 102 applications (including p deferred cases) were considered by the IMWG, out of which total 50 cases were apnroved (including 12 oost-facto aooroyalsl.0l case was rejected and remaining 51 cases deferred due to want of comments/IlOCs from concerned IMWG member agencies or in await of information/clarification from the applicants. (ii) Approved cases: SCOMET permissions for approved cases by IMWG are issued by

concerned RA for approved cases will also be generated and sent to the applicant in this regard. The
applicant may note that they need not to submit any further application or documents before the
Regional office of DGFT.
(iii) Approved post-facto : Cases which are shown as Annrovgd post-facto implies that approval
against those cases have already been issued by DGFT (Hqrs), with the approval of Chairman, IMWG
in terms of Para 2.74(lX) of HBP (Handbook of Procedure 2015-20).In order to facilitate export, Para
2.74 givespower to Chairman, IMWG to issue authorization in those cases, which have been discussed
by IMWG at least once in previous meeting and got deferred, and where NOCs / recommendations
have been received subsequently from the concerned agency(ies) with no divergence in views.
However, such cases, shall be brought before IMWG in its subsequent meeting for approval on ex-post
facto basis.
(iv) Dropped : Cases which are shown as Drouped implies that firm is not responsive to the queries
of bCff ln furnishing the documents/information/ clarification as called for or the foreign buyer /
end user has not responded/facilitated to the Government agencies in verifring the credentials to
complete the process.
(v) Issue of export license by the RA, DGFT : RA can see the Digitally singed Authorization /
afprouat letter on clicking the'View attachment' option after logging into online SCOMET at URL
http://dgft.gov.in/ecomratZndlocate file by searching file (Example 21089 and press find button) and
ir.r. .Lpo-.t authorization /license accordingly for such applications wjthinlhree working days
without waiting for any further communication(s) from the applicant or DGFT(Hqrs). In case any
further clarification is required by the Regional Office of DGFT concemed, the same shall be referred
to DGFT(Hqrs) only. No further documentls) shall be asked by Regional Authority (RA), DGFT for
grant of SCOMET license from the applicant firm.
