Request: Issuance of clarification regarding description of export product mentioned at SION A-1709.

Decision: The Committee considered the case and it was observed that though the licence was issued on the basis of SION A-1709, which is meant for the export product “Rubber Hoses of different dimensions having net content of Rubber not more than 0.49 MT”

but in this case, the firm has already exported “Low Pressure Rubber Tubing”.

  1.     DIPP vide letter dated 04.04.2012 has informed that they have no objection to the interchangeability of the words from Hose to Tube to describe the item of export.  However, the consumption pattern of raw material is not exactly the same as mentioned in SION A –

  3.     In view of above, the Committee discussed and decided that this licence is not covered under SION A-1709 and hence it requires fixation of fresh norms treating this case under 4.7 of HBP Vol. I.  Accordingly, the Committee decided to fix following adhoc norms:
