Request: Applicability of Public Notice No. 80/2009-2014 dated 13.07.2010 from the date of issue of Custom Authority letter dated 22.08.2008.

Decision: The Committee considered the detailed representation of Jt.DGFT, Pune submitted vide letter dated 10.02.2011. After taking into consideration the representation of Jt. DGFT, Pune and comments of D/o C&PC furnished vide O.M. NO. 46011/42/2009-PC-II dated 29.01.2010, it was decided that the description of export product in the advance licences issued between 22.08.2008 to 13.07.2010 may be read as “Aseptic Packaging Material”.

  1.     However, import of additional item ‘LK Film’ will not be allowed in respect of any advance authorization issued prior to

issuance of Public Notice No. 80 dated 13.07.2010.
