The Committee considered the case as per agenda and noted that the firm had applied for import of two items namely Zircon and Caustic Soda Flakes/Prills, but Norms Committee had allowed import of only one item namely Zircon. The firm made representation through FIEO, New Delhi for allowing second item i.e. Caustic Soda Flakes/Prills .

        After detailed deliberations and in light of written comments forwarded by Deptt. of C&PC(Chem Div) vide their U.O.No.14010/120/2010-CH-II dated 2.9.2013, Committee decided to allow import of  2nd item i.e. Caustic Soda Flakes/Prills to the extent of 1.22 Kg/Kg of Zirconium Carbonate with out any other change in the decision taken by NC in its M.No.4/83 dated 23.4.2008.

RLA concerned may take necessary action under Para 4.7 of HBP as per above decision of NORMS COMMITTEE.
