Committee considered the case as per Agenda and noted that the case has been re-examined by Technical Authority, Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, based on the additional information/documents furnished by the firm vide letter dated June, 21, 2013. The firm have submitted their reply enclosing hard copy of application License Copy, a declaration for export & import items, FDA Certificate, A.R.E. – 1, Export Invoice, Shipping Bill, raw material specification etc..

While examining the application and shipping bills, it was observed that the unit of export item in Numbers whereas in shipping bills /Export invoice/ARE-1 (duly authenticated by central excise), it is given in grams. After obtaining all corroborative evidences from the firm, Technical Authority, Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, observed that the weight of one Number of export item 1, is 99.00 grams, export item 2 & 3 is 12.86 grams, export item 4 & 5 is 3.40 grams.

        The firm has also submitted a copy of approved formula from Drug Authority, declaration regarding import and export items and they have claimed 0.50% wastage on bulk raw materials which, in the views of Technical Authority, Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, appears to be reasonable. However, component is allowed on net to net basis.

Taking all the above facts and circumstances into consideration, Committee, based on the written recommendation of Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, furnished vide their U.O. No. 7/100/2013-TSW/147 dated 19.08.2013, decided to reconsider and approve norms, as under:-

Committee considered the case as per Agenda and noted that the case has been re-examined by Technical Authority, Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, based on the additional information/documents furnished by the firm vide letter dated June 21, 2013. The firm have submitted their reply enclosing hard copy of application, License Copy, a declaration for export & import items, FDA Certificate, A.R.E. – 1, Export Invoice, Shipping Bill, raw material specification etc..

While examining the application and shipping bills, it is observed that the unit of export item in Numbers whereas in shipping bills /Export invoice/ARE-1 (duly authenticated by central excise), it is given in grams. After obtaining all corroborative evidences from the firm, Technical Authority, Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, observed that the weight of one Number of each export item 1 to 8 is 7.24 grams.

        The firm has also submitted a copy of approved formula from Drug Authority, declaration regarding import and export items and they have claimed 0.50% wastage on bulk raw materials which, in the views of Technical Authority, Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, appears to be reasonable. However, component is allowed on net to net basis.

Taking all the above facts and circumstances into consideration, Committee, based on the written recommendation of Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, furnished vide their U.O. No. 7/100/2013-TSW/152 dated 23.08.2013, decided to reconsider and approve norms, as under:-
