The Committee considered the case as per agenda and the representation of the firm dated 4.4.2013, for amendment of license by allowing export product Py-gas, along with existing export product of Motor Spirit. Committee noted from the representation of the firm that the firm had already exported 1 MT of Motor Spirit and intends to export the remaining 27 MT by exporting of Py-Gas which is exactly the same product as that of Motor Spirit, to enable the firm to fulfill their export obligation of remaining 27MT by 30.09.2013.

Committee decided to approve the same, as the input item “Naptha’ is the same for both the export products Py-gas and Motor Spirit, and the wastage allowed is also same [ie., 0.734 Ton of Naptha per 1 Ton of Pyrolysis Gasoline or Motor Spirit, as per the recommendations of Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals (PC Division) vide their O.M. No. 46011/24/2003-PC-II dated 5.10.2004 (for Pyrolysis Gasoline)] and O.M. No. 46011/24/2003-PC.II Vol.II dated 7.3.2007 (for Motor Spirit), respectively.

RLA, Kolkata, to take necessary action in terms of above decision of Norms Committee under Para 4.7 of HBP.
