PRO version The Committee considered the case as per agenda . The case came up before Norms Committee and was discussed, in the light of the communication received from IL Division dated 21st July, 2010 requesting Norms Committee for fixation of norms against the above mentioned advance authorization issued to the firm under para 4.7 of HBP, Vol.-I. The Committee also took in to view the decision of Policy Relaxation Committee vide PRC Meeting .No. 03/AM11 dated 29.7.2010 (File No 01/53/8/162/Misc/P-16/AM11), and noted that PRC has allowed import of rough granite against advance authorization issued to the firm under self – declared basis and allowed ex-post facto approval of the action taken in this regard by this Directorate, relaxing the paragraph 4.7 of HBP read with Public Notice No.83 dated 22.7.2010, on the following grounds:-

 PRC observed that  there is no  SION available for the import of  rough granite, there was no restriction to import  rough granite block under para

4.7 of HBP ; 2) PRC also noted that the firm had already imported a part of the consignment and competed part export obligation against the said licence.

In view of above, the Committee decided to approve the case, keeping inview the written recommendation of DIPP (TSW Section) vide their U.O.No.7/45/2010-TSW dated 21.9.2010 and fix the following norms as under:-
