MEETING NUMBER : 16/82‐ALC4/2008 MEETING DATE : 15.07.2008 The Meeting No.16/09 in the year 2008‐09 to consider the cases under Duty Exemption Scheme (Chapter‐4) of Foreign Trade Policy, 2004‐09 pertaining to products falling in Chapter 29 and 30 due for 15.08.2008 was actually held on 16.08.2008 under the Chairmanship of Export Commissioner, Shri Sanjay Rastogi in his chamber. Shri Sunil Koppal, Logistic Incharge of the company appeared for personal hearing and explained his case. He informed the Committee that in some cases, the norms were fixed by NC as per old SION A‐50, but RA did not allow ad‐hoc norms stating that SION A‐50 had already been deleted in 2005. He further explained that company has submitted consumption data certified by Central Excise Authority and have also requested to Pharmexcil to provide All Industry data to DGFT, but the same has not been provided. Committee noted that firm has given Central Excise certified consumption data which shown that they have consumed more quantity of inputs than allowed in earlier deleted SIONs. A䬀er detailed deliberations and in consultation with representative of technical authority present in the meeting, Committee in light of earlier SION A‐50 and A‐51 (already deleted in 2005) decided to ratify norms under para 4.7 of HBP as per details below or as applied by firm whichever is lower:‐ Export product Export Qty.
