Subject: Setting up of “Customs Clearance Facilitation Committee” (CCFC)-reg.

Please peruse the Circular No. 13/2015-Customs dated 13.04.2015 issued from F. No. 450/01/2011-Dir (Customs) (Pt.) & Circular No. 44/2016-Customs, dated 22.09.2016 issued from F. No. 450/115/2016-Cus-IV available at the CBEC wébsite i.e. www.cbec.gov.in , which is selfexplanatory. ,

Di In this connection "Customs Clearance Facilitation Committee” (CCFC) for the Ahmedabad Customs Commissionerate has been revised and comprising the following members.

5. The terms of reference for the CCFC are given as per the aforesaid circulars. The same are

reproduced below:-

• i. Ensuring and monitoring expeditious clearance of imported and export goods in accordance with the timeline specified by the parent ministry/Department concerned;

• ii. Identifying and resolving bottlenecks, if any, in the clearance procedure of imported and export goods;

• iii. Initiating Time Release Studies for improvement in the clearance time of imported and export goods;

• iv. Having ‘internal consultations to speed up the clearance process of imported and export goods and recommending best practices _ thereto for consideration — of CBEC/Departments/Agencies concerned and

• v. Resolving grievances of members of the trade and industry in regard to clearance process of imported and export goods.

The CCFC shall meet once a week or more frequently, if considered necessary by the chair.

4. All the trade/stakeholders and EXIM community is invited to take benefits of the CCFC to enable the department to minimize the Customs clearance time and in resolving related trade grievances urgently. The number of the chair is as per given above. 5. All the Trade Associations/Chamber of Commerce/Members of RAC and Custom Brokers Association are requested to publicize. the contents: of the Circular among _ their members/Constituents for successful and efficient outcome for their information. 6. The Public Notice No.10/2015 dated 23.04.2015 issued by this is office is amended to this extent only.
