Meeting - frequency ofmeeting - Regarding. Attention of all the members of Trade, Participating Government Agencies (PGA) and Stakeholders is invited to the Board's Circular No. 13/2015- Customs dated 13.04.2015 as well as the Circular No. 44/2016-Customs dated 22.09.2016 regarding setting up of 'Customs Clearance Facilitation Committee (CCFC)' at various Customs stations. 2. The Board's Circular No. 13/2015-Customs dated 13.04.2015 which stipulates the setting up of a Customs Clearance Facilitation Committee (CCFC) prescribes that the CCFS shall meet once a week or more frequently. Subsequently, Board's Circular No. 44/2016-Customs dated 22.09.2016 was issued for setting up of similar CCFCs at various Land Customs Stations and ICDs, which prescribes that CCFC shall meet once a month or as considered necessary bythe Chair. 3. In view ofthe location ofJawaharlal Nehru Custom House (JNCH), and as agreed with the stakeholders, the CCFC meetings are being held on Quarterly basis in this Zone. No demand has come from trade or stakeholders to change this frequency of CCFC Meeting. Accordingly, the Public Notice No. 33/2015 dated 22.04.2015 issuedbythis Zone is being modifiedto stipulate that the CCFC Meetings of Mumbai Customs Zone-II will be held on Quarterlybasis.
