Subject: Scope of product under consideration (PUC) and product control numbers

(PCN) methodology in the anti-dumping investigation concerning imports of Nylon 6 in any form, with relative viscosity of RV- 3.0 to 3.6, originating in or exported from China PR, Russia, Taiwan and Thailand.

Attention of all interested parties is invited to the above-cited investigation initiated vide Notification No. 6/37/2025-DGTR dated 30th September 2025. Wherein the product under (hereinafter referred to as “PUC”) was defined and an excerpt of the same is reproduced as under:

“3. The product under consideration is Nylon 6 in any form with relative viscosity of RV-3.0 to 3.6.”

No PCN methodology was proposed in the initiation notification.

The non-confidential version of the application filed by the domestic industry was circulated to all interested parties vide Email/Letter dated 6th October 2025. The interested parties were granted an opportunity to offer their comments on the scope of PUC and propose PCNs, if any, within a period of 15 days from the date of the circulation of the nonconfidential version of application which ended on 22nd October, 2025. No comments and proposals for PUC and the construction of PCNs have been received. Hence, there is no change in the scope of PUC and no PCN methodology is adopted for the present investigation.

Accordingly, all interested parties are directed to file their questionnaire responses based on the above product under consideration within 37 days from the date of intimation Letter/E-mail dated 6th October 2025 i.e. by 12th November, 2025.

This communication is limited to clarifying the scope of the product under consideration for which the present investigation is being conducted. This does not preclude interested parties from providing relevant information and evidence to substantiate their requests

for exclusion for any particular product. The Authority shall decide the scope of the product under consideration for any measures recommended, after considering relevant information and evidence furnished by all interested parties during the course of investigation.

This issues with the approval of the Designated Authority.
