The area admeasuring 52990 SQM of Container Freight Station M/s. Sarveshwar Logistics Services Pvt. Ltd. located at Village - Dighode, Taluka- Uran, Distt.-Raigad, Maharashtra, was declared as Customs Area under section 8 of the Customs Act, 1962 vide Notification no. 11/2016 dated 06.12.2016, and M/s. Sarveshwar Logistics Services Pvt. Ltd. was appointed as Custodian as well as Customs Cargo Services Provider for the said area vide notification No. 10/2017 dated 21.08.2017 for two (2) years, under section 45(1) & 141(2) of the Customs Act, 1962 and regulation 10 of the HCCA Regulation, 2009. 2. Now, in exercise of the powers conferred on me under Section 45(1) and 141 (2) of the Customs Act, 1962, I, Sanjay Mahendru, Commissioner of Customs (General), Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Mumbai Zone-II, Nhava Sheva, hereby renew the appointment of M/s. Sarveshwar Logistics Services Pvt. Ltd. as “Custodian” of the Imported goods received at their Container Freight Station M/s. Sarveshwar Logistics Services Pvt. Ltd. for an area admeasuring approximately 52990 SQM until these are cleared for home consumption or are warehoused or are transhipped in accordance with the provision of Chapter VIII of the Customs Act, 1962. Similarly, M/s. Sarveshwar Logistics Services Pvt. Ltd. will also be the “Custodian” of the Export Cargo brought into said Container Freight Station, for examination and stuffing till their exportation through Jawaharlal Nehru Port. 3. Further, in exercise of the powers conferred on me under Regulation 10 of the “Handling of Cargo in Customs Areas Regulations 2009″, I, Sanjay Mahendru, Commissioner of Customs, Nhava Sheva (General), Mumbai Customs, Zone-II, Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, hereby renew the appointment of M/s. Sarveshwar Logistics Services Pvt. Ltd. as a ‘Customs Cargo Services Provider’ for the above-mentioned Container Freight Station admeasuring approximately 52990 SQM, subject to following conditions:

(i) The Custodian M/s. Sarveshwar Logistics Services Pvt. Ltd., appointed as Customs Cargo Services Provider for the said CFS shall abide by all the provisions of the Customs Act, 1962, Handling of Cargo in Customs Areas Regulations, 2009, and other regulations, notifications, orders issued under Customs Law or any other law.

(ii) The duration of appointment of M/s. Sarveshwar Logistics Services Pvt. Ltd. as ‘Custodian’ and as the ‘Customs Cargo Service Provider’ shall remain valid for a period of five (05) years from 21.08.2019 from the date of issue of this Public Notice, unless otherwise suspended/ revoked/ cancelled prior to the expiry of the said period.

(iii) As and when required, the CCSP should provide office space for scanning of import/ export documents. 4. The Commissioner of Customs, Nhava Sheva (General), Mumbai Customs, Zone-II, JNCH shall have the Right to review the appointment of M/s. Sarveshwar Logistics Services Pvt. Ltd. as ‘Customs Cargo Services Provider’, anytime for failure to comply with any of the

Regulations of the “Handling of Cargo in Customs Areas Regulations, 2009 or as per the directions of the Government of India.
