Subject: 24 x 7 clearance-reg.

Kind attention of all the Importers, Exporters, Custodians, Shipping Lines/Agents, Terminal Operators, Custom Brokers, General Trade coming under the jurisdiction of Custom House, Mundra and all other stakeholders is invited to Public Notice No. 07/2018 dated 21.05.2018 wherein the Commissionerate is working on 24x7 for Customs Clearance. 2. Further, the CBIC, Ministry of Finance, New Delhi has issued Instruction No. 02/2020-Customs dated 20.02.2020, wherein facility of 24x 7 Customs Clearance has been introduced at all Customs formations to handle an emergent situations in view of apprehension of disruption in supply of raw material/inputs to industrial units which were dependent on these raw materials due to ongoing shutdown in China on account of Coronavirus outbreak. There could also be a dip in offtake in exports to China. On the contrary, there is a strong likelihood of an immediate surge in the imports from and export to China once the spread of the virus is brought fully under control. 3; Shri Sushant Kumar, Additional Commissioner (Mobile Number 9724630696) will act as Nodal Officer for Docks Examination, Docks Preventive and R & I and Shri Ajay Kumar, Additional Commissioner (Mobile Number 7622973417) will act as Nodal Officer for Import/Export Assessment groups. 4.
