Additions/Amendments in the Schedule of DEPB Rates

TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY (PART­I, SECTION­I) GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF FOREIGN TRADE    PUBLIC NOTICE NO.  152  (RE­2008) /2004­2009 NEW DELHI, DATED THE     26TH   February, 2009.     In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004­2009 and Paragraph 1.1 of the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.I), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following  additions/amendments in the Schedule of DEPB Rates (as amended from time to time) with immediate effect:   1.         Existing DEPB entries of Product Group”Chemical Products” (Product    Code: 62) stand amended as follows:­   DEPB Sl. No. Description DEPB rate    Value cap 688 High Voltage Solid Core Porcelain Insulators 5 Rs120/­ Per Kg 689 High Voltage Tubular Porcelain Insulators 5 Rs. 130/­ per kg                                                                                                               This issues in public interest.
