Amendment in the Schedule of DEPB rates.

TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY (PART­I, SECTION­1)   GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE     PUBLIC NOTICE  NO.124(RE­2008) /2004­2009 NEW DELHI DATED THE 3 January, 2009                        In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2004­2009 and Paragraph 1.1 of the Handbook of Procedures, (Vol. 1), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in the “Schedule of DEPB Rates”.   1.         Amendments made in DEPB Rates vide Public Notice No. 102 dated 05.11.2008 in respect of products where DEPB rates were reduced, hereby stand withdrawn w.e.f. 5.11.2008 itself, thereby restoring the DEPB Rates notified prior to 5.11.2008, for the said items.         This issues in Public interest.     Sd/­  (R.S. Gujral) Director General of Foreign Trade And Ex­Officio Additional Secretary to the Govt. of India         [Issued from File. No. 01/94/180/ DEPB­Extn. /AM09/ PC 4(B) ].
