Amendments in the Hand Book of Procedure (Vol.2), 2004-2009.

(TO BE PUBLISED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIAN EXTRAORDINARY PART­1­ SECTION­1)   GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE     PUBLIC NOTICE NO.  75(RE: 2007)/2004­2009 NEW DELHI:  DATED       26 /10/2007               In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004­09 and Paragraph 1.1 of Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following additions in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 2004­ 2009, as amended.   2.   In the General Note for Textiles (Product Code: J) the following Note No.20 may be incorporated:­                         General Note No.20 :  Advance Authorization for export of Cotton Bed Linen, Bed Covers, Bed Sets, Pillow Covers, Cushion Covers under  (SION  at  S.No.sJ­1,  J­28,  J­30,  J­40,  J­49,  J­73,  J­91,  J­108,  J­109,  J­119,  J­123,  J­129,  J­312,  J­314,  J­316  &  J­347)  shall  not  be permitted under the generic entries for export of made­ups.               The earlier General Note No.16 & 17 issued vide Public Notice No.52 (RE:2007)/2004­2009 dated 27.9.2007 may be amended to read as General Note No.18 and 19 respectively instead of General Note No.16 and 17.               This issues in Public interest.   Sd/­ (R. S. GUJRAL) DIRECTOR GENERAL OF FOREIGN TRADE and  EX­OFFICIO ADDITIONAL SECRETARY TO GOVERNMENT OF INDIA                     (F. No.01/84/162/572/AM­08/DES­V)
