Further amendments in the Public Notice No. 7(RE-2006)/2004-09 dated 9.5.2006.

TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY (PART – I, SECTION – I)   GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE   PUBLIC NOTICE No.  18 (RE­2006)/2004­09 NEW DELHI :  Dated  12th  June, 2006                  In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the   Foreign Trade Policy, 2004­09 and Paragraph 1.1 of Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments  in Public Notice No. 7(RE­ 2006)/2004­09 dated 9.5.2006.   (1)     Sl.No. (ii) of Para 2 will be amended to read as follows:                    (ii) Imports will be made by  31st March, 2007.   (2) Sl. No. (iv) of Para 2 will be amended to read as follows:   (iv) The import will be allowed into  India  only through the following ports,  namely,  Nhava Sheva, Kandla, Kolkatta, Chennai, Vishakhapatanam , Mundra  and Mumbai.        This issues in public interest.     Sd/­
