Amendments/ additions / corrections in DEPB rates

TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY (PART –I, SECTION –1)   GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY   PUBLIC NOTICE NO­   66 /2004­2009 NEW DELHI :  DATED         30 /03/2005               In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004­09 and Paragraph 1.1 of the Handbook of procedures (Vol­I), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following additions/ corrections/ amendments etc. in the Book titled “Schedule of DEPB rates”:­    I   Product Group: Engineering      Product Code: 61   (i)                  The value cap in respect of entry at Sl.No­85 is amended to read as Rs.32.50/­ per Kg   (ii)                 The value cap in respect of entry at Sl.No­329 is amended to read as Rs.30.50/­ per Kg   (iii)               The DEPB rate in respect of entry at Sl.No­130 is amended to read as 3%   (iv)              The DEPB rate in respect of entry at Sl.No­410B is amended to read as 10% and value cap is amended to read as Rs.95/­ per Kg.   (v)                The DEPB rate in respect of entry at Sl.No­411B is amended to read as 10% and value cap is amended to read as Rs.73/­ per Kg.   (vi)              The following new adhoc DEPB rate has been notified and this DEPB entry shall be applicable only for exports made by M/s Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, Mumbai. This entry is valid for a period of 6 months or till the DEPB scheme is in operation which ever is earlier.   Sl.No Product Description DEPB Rate Value cap 603 Agricultural Tractors in CKD/ SKD/ CBU/ SKID Condition thereof. 3% Rs. 3,75,000/­ per Tractor       II     Product Group: Chemicals                         Product Code: 62   (i)                  The value cap in respect of entry at Sl.No­48 is corrected to read as Rs.1650/­ per Kg   (ii)                The description in respect of entry at Sl.No­261 is corrected to read as “Pigment Red­49:1 (C.I. No.15630:1)”
