Amendments in DEPB rate for fish products

TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY (PART –I, SECTION –1)   GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY   PUBLIC NOTICE NO ­ 76   (RE:03/2002­2007 NEW DELHI : DATED  12.8.2004       In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Export and Import Policy, 2002­2007 and Paragraph 1.1 of the Handbook of procedures (Vol.I), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in the Book titled “Schedule of DEPB rates”:­     The existing DEPB rate of 5% of entry at S.No.2 of the “Fish and Fish Products (Product Code:66)” has been made effective w.e.f. 3rd May, 2003 vide Public Notice No.67(RE­03/2002­2007) dt. 21st June, 2004.  It has been decided to keep this decision in abeyance till further orders.   This issues in Public interest.       (GOPAL K PILLAI) DIRECTOR GENERAL OF FOREIGN TRADE   (File No.01/87/171/00001/AM05/DES.VIII)
