Amendment/correction in the schedule of DEPB rates

TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY (PART­I, SECTION 1)   GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY   PUBLIC NOTICE No. 37/(RE­03)/2002­07 NEW DELHI : THE  5TH, JANUARY, 2004             In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.4 of the Export and Import Policy, 2002­07 and paragraph 1.1 of Handbook of Procedures (Vol.I), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following addition/correction / amendment in the book titled  “Schedule of DEPB Rates”.   Product Group : Engineering            Product Code : 61     The description of the export product at Sl.No. 461 amended to read as:­  “Pilfer Proof Caps­ Plain/Printed with EP Liner”.   After the existing entry at Sl.No.584,  the following new entry is inserted :­   S.No. Description DEPB Rate (%) Value cap for DEPB Entitlement 585 All Aluminium Alloy Conductor  10.00 ­     This issues in Public Interest.
