Amendment/correction in the schedule of DEPB rates

TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORIDNARY (PART­I, SECTION I)   GOVERNMENT OF INDIA, MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY     PUBLIC NOTICE NO.­  24 (RE­03)/2002­07 NEW DELHI : the      10th  September, 2003     In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.4 of the Export and Import Policy, 2002­07 and paragraph 1.1 of Handbook of Procedures (Vol.I), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following addition / correction / amendment in the book titled “ Schedule of DEPB Rates”.   I)         Product Group : Engineering            Product Code  :  61   i)          The value cap of entry at Sl.No.573 is revised to Rs.56 per kg.     II)        Product Group : Chemicals              Product Code  :  62               After the existing entry at Sl.No.992, the following new entry is inserted.   Sl.No. Description DEPB Rate (%) Value Cap for DEPB Entitlement 993 3,4 Dichloro Aniline 8    ­                 This issues in Public Interest.                                                                                                                         (L. MANSINGH) DIRECTOR GENERAL OF FOREIGN TRADE     Copy to all concerned.
