Amendment/correction in the schedule of DEPB rates

TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORIDNARY (PART­I, SECTION I)   GOVERNMENT OF INDIA, MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY   PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 13/  2002­07 NEW DELHI : the  13 JUNE, 2003   In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.4 of the Export and Import Policy, 2002­07 and paragraph 1.1 of Handbook of Procedures (Vol.I), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following addition / correction / amendment in the book titled “ Schedule of DEPB Rates”.   I)       Product Group : Engineering               Product Code :  61            The entry at Sl.No.437 is corrected as under :­ Sl.No. Export Product DEPB Rate (%) Value Cap for DEPB entitlement 437 Steel Hinges Bar Type 17 (Effective from 1.4.2003)       ­   The existing entry at Sl.No.563 is substituted as under :­ Sl.No. Export Product DEPB Rate (%) Value Cap for DEPB entitlement 563 (A) 563(B) Automobile Ignition Locks for car Automobile Ignition Locks for two wheelers 19 17 Rs.3000/­per kg.
