Amendments/ Corrections in the Schedule of DEPB Rates

TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY (PART­I, SECTION­I)   GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY   PUBLIC NOTICE NO.   32 /2002­07 NEW DELHI: the 22nd August, 2002   In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.4 of the Export and Import Policy, 2002­07 and paragraph 1.1 of Handbook of Procedures, 2002­07 (Vol.1), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments/ corrections in the book titled "Schedule of DEPB Rates."    1)        Product Group: Engineering                  Product Code: 61               (a) The following entries are amended as under:   S.No. Export Product DEPB Rate Value  Cap  for  DEPB entitlement 329 Cold Rolled Galvanised Non Alloy Steel Sheet/Hoops and Strips/ Wide Coils/ Circles (Plain/ Corrugated) 18.00 Rs. 25500 per MT 350 Hot Rolled Non Alloy Steel Plates/ Wide Coils/ Sheets/ hoops & Strips (including Skelp) 15.00   387 Cold  Rolled  (including  Full  Hard/ Half  Hard/  Annealed  and/or  Skin Passed/  Temper  Passed)  Non­ Alloy/  Alloy  Steel  (excluding Stainless Steel) Sheets/ Hoops and Strips/  Wide­Coils,  including CRCA 17.00     (b) The DEPB entries at S.Nos. 493 and 494 stands deleted.     2)         Product Group: Chemicals and Allied Products Product Code: 62               The following entry  is  corrected as under:
