Accredited Client Programme (ACP) and Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) programme — Revised Guidelines Attention of all the Importers, Customs Brokers, Logistics Service Provider, Custodian /Terminal Operator, Warehouse Operator and the member of the Trade is invited to the Board’s Circular No. 33/2016-Customs dated 22.07.2016 and Public Notice No. 105/2016 dated 28.07.2016 issued by this office; on the above mentioned subject. 2. Kind reference is invited to Board's Circular No. 42/2005 dated 24.11.2005 as amended regarding the ACP scheme and circular no 28/2012-Customs dated 16.11.2012 regarding AEO programme. The Board has decided to merge the two facilitation schemes namely ACP and AEO into a combined three-tier AEO programme and also enhance the scope of these programmes so as to provide further benefits to the entities who have demonstrated strong internal control system and willingness to comply with the laws administered by the Central Board of Excise and Customs. 3. As a measure of trade facilitation and ‘Ease of Doing Business’ a dedicated “Authorized Economic Operator Cell” has been created at 7th Floor, JNCH. Further, Shri Dhirendra Lal, Additional Commissioner of Customs has been nominated as the Nodal Officer. The following officers have been nominated as member of the AEO Team:
