Subject: Minutes of the PRC Meeting No.03/AM09

               held on 31.7.2008 under the Chairmanship 
              of the  D.G.F.T. (Case 20).

In partial modification in the minutes of the PRC meeting no. 03/AM09 dated 31.7.2008 held under the chairmanship of Director General of Foreign Trade, the minutes for case at Sl. No. 20 in respect of M/s. Sterlite Optical Technologies Limited, Aurangabad may be read as under:

“Committee decided to consider the case as per Standard Principle adopted for considering cases in PRC for EOP extension. Accordingly, the Committee decided to extend the EOP for the advance licences at S.No. 1 to 8 of the list mentioned above upto March, ’07 subject to payment of composition fee @ 1% p.m., on the duty saved for balance inputs.
However, since the licences at S.No. 9 & 10 of the list are not covered within the parameters of the general principle adopted in PRC, Committee did not accept the request for EOP extension for these two licences.”
