Inclusion of Kandla and Vishakhapatnam Sea ports for Export of Essential Commodities to Maldives during FY 2024-25 -reg . S.0.(E): In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 read with Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, read with paragraph 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2023, as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby amends Notification No. 06/2023 dated 15.04.2024 incorporating (2) additional Ports for Export of Essential Commodities under Prohibited/Restricted category to the Republic of Maldives during the period FY 202425 :-

Incorporation of Policy condition for export of Chitin, Chitosan, Chitosan Salts, Chitosan Salts (Chitosan Hydrochloride, Chitosan Acetate, Chitosan Lactate) and Chitosan Derivatives (Chitosan Succinamide).

Allocation of quantity 5841 MT Sugar by EU for export from India under TRQ for the year 2023-24 (October 2023 to September 2024) - regarding

Procedure for allocation of quota for export of broken tice on humanitarian and food security grounds, based on requests received from Governments of other Countries.

Procedure for allocation of quota for export of broken rice on humanitarian and food security grounds, based on requests received from Governments of other Countries.

Procedure for allocation of quota for export of broken rice on humanitarian and food security grounds, based on requests received from Governments of other Countries.

Procedure for allocation of quota for export of wheat on humanitarian and food security grounds, based on requests received from Governments of other Countries. Government of India vide Notification No. 06/2015-20 dated 13.05.2022 prohibited export of wheat. However, export of wheat in the above said Notification was allowed under the following conditions:

Allocation of additional quantity of 2360 MT for export of raw cane sugar to USA under Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ) for the US Fiscal Year 2023.

Allocation of quantity 5841 MT (raw/refined) Sugar by EU for export from India under TRQ for the year 2022-23 & allocation of quantity 8606 MTRV raw cane sugar by USA for export from India under TRQ scheme for US fiscal year 2023 — regarding.

Extension for the period of exports of broken tice (HS code 1006 40 00) from 30" 20.09.2022.September, 2022 till 15" October, 2022 as mentioned in Notification No. 34 dt, S.0. (E) The Central Government, in exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 read with section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992), as amended, read with Para 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign ‘Trade Policy, 2015-20, hereby extends the period for export of broken rice (HS code 1006 40 00) from 30" September, 2022 till 15% October, 2022. All other conditions as contained in Notification No. 31 dated 08.09.2022 read with Notification No.34 dated 20.09.2022 remain the same.

Allocation of additional quantity of 2051 MT for export of raw sugar to USA under Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ) for the US Fiscal Year 2022. In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraphs 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby allocates an additional quantity of 2051 MT raw sugar for export under Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ) to USA for the US fiscal year 2022 (October 1, 2021 to September 30, 2022). With this additional allocation, quantity for export of sugar to USA under TRQ for the fiscal year 2022 would be as under: -

Allocation of additional quantity of 303 MT for export of raw sugar to USA under Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ) for the Fiscal Year 2021.

Submission of ICLCs (Irrevocable Commercial Letter of Credits) eligible as per Para 1.05(b) of Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20 for export of Onions
