Subject: Procedure for allocation of quota for export of broken rice on humanitarian and food security grounds, based on requests received from Governments of other Countries.

DGFT vide Trade Notice No. 08/2023 dated 20" June 2023 has laid down the procedure for applying for licence and allocation of quota for export of broken rice on humanitarian and food security grounds, based on requests received from Governments of other Countries.

is DGFT received representations regarding difficulties being faced while filling up the online forms and certain issues regarding allocation of quota. With a view to resolve these issues a video conference was arranged on 27" June, 2023, with the exporters under the Chairmanship of Shri S.C. Agarwal, Addl. DGFT. After detailed deliberations with the exporters, DGFT has decided to partially amend the following Paras of Trade Notice No. 08/2023 dated 20" June 2023:
