PUBLIC NOTICE NO: _ 13 /2018-19

Subject: Movement of Direct Port Delivery (DPD) Cargo from terminal to various preferred CFSs - Regarding,

Attention of the Importers, Exporters, General Trade, Port Terminal Operators, Shipping Lines/ Shipping Agents, CFSs coming under the jurisdiction of Mundra Custom House, and all other stakeholders is invited to the Public Notice No. 52/2017-18 dated 28.03.2018, regarding procedure in case of DPD clearance of imports from terminals. Several DPD clients have requested to utilize transport facility of CFS for movement of DPD containers from Terminal to their preferred choice of CFS for destuffing and subsequent delivery in trucks. In this context henceforth following facility would also be available to DPD clients.

2. The DPD clients can utilize the transport of their preferred CFS for transfer of DPD containers for destuffing in the CFS. For utilizing this facility, the DPD client will have to give one time intimation to Terminal Operator.

3. The DPD clients after obtaining OOC from ‘DPD/RMS facilitation Centre’ would approach preferred CFS for transport of the DPD containers to the CFS. Further the CFS providing such facilities would demarcate an area in CFS for bringing such containers for destuffing and subsequent delivery. Such CFS would keep a record of the DPD containers which have been transferred by them from the Terminals and provide a monthly report to the Customs in the following format :
