-
The terminals of M/s Mundra International Container Terminal Pvt. Limited and M/s Adani Ports & SEZ Ltd have sought clarification regarding post scanning handling movement of DDPD stacking code ( as per para 8.2 of the Public Notice No. 52/2017-18 dated 28.03.2018 ) containers selected for scanning. They have sought permission for offloading of all DDPD containers selected for scanning on completion of the scanning at MICT CFS/ Exim Yard.
-
Considering the request of Terminals, it is now decided that DDPD stacking code containers selected for scanning and subsequently found clean and affixed stamp “SCANNED CLEAN’, will also be off loaded at MICT CFS/ Exim Yard, in place of returning to Terminals. These Terminals have also informed that DDPD containers which are stamped “SCANNED CLEAN” after scanning will not attract additional CFS charges at their CFS.
-
Further, in respect of DCFS stacking code ( as per para 8.2 of the Public Notice No. 52/2017-18 dated 28.03.2018 ) containers selected for scanning, the preferred CFS would be allowed to transport the container within 48 hours of discharge of the container, for scanning to reduce the dwell time and after completion of the scanning, off loading of the container in their own yard. 5. Difficulty faced, if any, may be brought to the notice of the undersigned.
