After deliberation, the Committee confirmed the minutes of the 121st
meeting of Approval Committee held on 30.05.2023
Agenda Item No.02 : Application of M/s Infinit Infratech LLP, located at MIDC-
SEZ, Pune for approval of List of Material for authorized operations.
After deliberation, Committee approved the list of material in terms of Rule
12(2) of SEZ Rules, list of material submitted by the Co-Developer, duly certified
by Chartered Engineer Mr. Prashant S Dashputre, (Reg. No. M-134446-8 dated
05.09.2007) having total value of Rs. 1,67,41,200/- minus restricted items such
as Crush sand, River Sand, M-sand, Murrum, Dabbar etc. valued at Rs.
18,00,000/- which comes to Rs. 1,49,41,200/- required for their authorized
operations as detailed below :

AGENDA NOTE FOR CONSIDERATION OF THE APPROVAL COMMITTEE a) Proposal : Request of M/s Neilsoft Pvt. Ltd., Located at Plot No. 21/2, MIDC- IT-ITES-SEZ, Hinjewadi, Pune for approval of setting up of rooftop Non- Conventional Solar Panel for captive consumption. b) Specific Issue on which decision of Approval Committee is required :
Approval of the Committee for setting up of rooftop Non-Conventional Solar Panel for captive consumption in terms of Office Memorandum dated 07.06.2021 issued in addendum to Power Guidelines dated 16.02.2016 issued by MOC&I as detailed below : 1 Name of the Vendor of Solar Power Plant Greenergy Sustainables LLP 2 Vendor-Service Solar power installer (EPC) company providing sustainable solutions 3 Capacity 100 KW 4 Annual Generation in capacity 1,18,000 KWH Units 5 Tax INR 7,11,000/- c) Relevant provisions : As per MO&I’s O.M. dated 07-06-2021 issued under F. No. K-43014(16)/8/2020-SEZ, in partial modification of Power guidelines issued vide letter No. P-6/03/2006-SEZ (Vo,.III) dated 16.02.2016, following proviso under para (iii) has been appended :
“Provided that, with the approval of Unit Approval Committee, a Unit may setup a non-conventional power plant within the premises of the Unit for the exclusive purpose of captive consumption subject to the condition that no tax/duty benefits stipulated under Section 26 of SEZ Act, 2005 shall be available for setting up as well as operations and maintenance of such power plant. Such captive generating power plants shall comply with all rules, regulations and technical standards framed under the Electricity Act, 2003 as amended from time to time. d) Other Information : LOA No. SEEPZ-SEZ/MIDC-SEZ/NL/65/2018-19/255 dated 18.09.2018 (Original LOA) Location : Plot No. 21/2, MIDC-IT-ITES-SEZ, RGIP, Hinjewadi, Phase III, Pune 411057. Date of Commencement of Production: 20.03.2020
Validity of LOA: 19.03.2025
The Unit has submitted and has given an undertaking that :
a. They are proposing to install 100 KW solar power generation system.
b. The Solar modules will be installed on Roof Top of their building located at
Plot No. 21/2, MIDC-IT-ITES-SEZ, RGIP, Hinjewadi, Phase III, Pune 411057.
c. The said Solar Power Plant shall be set up exclusively for captive
consumption purpose only.
d. The said solar power plant will be set up by their vendor i.e. M/s Greenergy
Sustainable LLP in accordance to the revised power guidelines.
e. The Unit will not be availing any duty/tax benefits on material and
installation under SEZ Act or Rules for setting up, operations and
maintenance of such power plant.
f.
They shall comply with all rules, regulations and technical standards
framed under the Electricity Act, 2003 as amended from time to time.
g.
Captive generation power plants with capacity 500 KW and above has to be
registered with Central Electricity Authority. They will register with Central
Electricity Authority if power generation capacity exceeds 500 KW.
e)
Observations :
The Approval Committee may kindly consider the proposal of the unit for
installation of 100 KW rooftop Non-conventional Solar Panel PV System, on roof
top of building for captive consumption only, in terms of O.M. issued under F.
No. K-43014(16)/8/2020-SEZ. dated 07-06-2021 issued by MOC&I in
amendment to Power guidelines dated 16.02.2016 issued by MOC&I.
