The unit requested for approval w.r.t. extension in the validity for submission of
registered lease deed till October 2023 and stated that they are in co-ordination with
NMDC, the Co-developer, and legal team for finalization of draft lease deed and are
proceeding with adjudication of lease deed in next 2-3 weeks. The Unit representative also
justified that the delay in submission is due to the discussion with the French Lawyers for
finalization of the lease deed

deliberation,
the
Committee
directed
the
Unit
to
submit
the
correspondences made i.r.o. lease deed for finalization of the legal documents with their
French Lawyers with a detailed justification as the submission is delayed in terms of Rule
18 (2) (ii) of the SEZ Rules 2006. The Committee approve d
approve d the proposal and extended the
period upto 31.10.2023 and directed the Unit representative to submit the registered lease
deed within the extended period.
