BMCTPL has been declared as the Customs Area in terms of Notifications Nos. 04/2017 dated 25.05.2017, 12/2017 dated 29.09.2017, 16/2017 dated 29.11.2017, 09/2018 dated 04.07.2018, 10/2018 dated 04.07.2018, 05/2025 dated 14/01/2025, 20/2025 dated 14/02/2025 and 40/2025 dated 09.05.2025 issued under Section 8 of the Customs Act, 1962. PUBLIC NOTICE NO.: 78 /2025 2. NowW, in exercise of the powers conferred on me under Section 8(a) of the Customs Act, 1962, I, B. Sumidaa Devi, Commissioner of Customs (General), Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Nhava Sheva, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me under Section 8(b) of the Customs Act, 1962 hereby specify the limits of the customs area to be the yard area admeasuring 37,980 sq. mtrs (vertices marked as pts 1,2,3,4,5), approach trestle AT-8 admeasuring 1,638 sq mtrs & AT-9 admeasuring 1,328 sq mtrs, D-yard admeasuring 11,335 sqms (vertices A,B,C,D,E &W) and Sub-station 4 admeasuring 11,660 sqms (vertices 9,10,11,12), a total area of 63,941 sq mtrs in the enclosed layout plan of M/s Bharat Mumbai Container Terminal Pvt. Ltd. lying within the coordinates tabulated above. 4.
