Subject: Roll out of Mobile X-Ray Container Scanners (MXCS) Installed at APMT and

NSICTIDP wORLD Terminals and working hours of MXxcS at NSICT/DP WORLD (Scan Moae- a and APMT (Scanned Mode- M3)- regarding. Attention of the Importers, exporters, Custodians, Customs Brokers, General Trade, Port Terminal Operators, Shipping Lines Shipping Agents, Container Freight Stations coming under the Jurisdiction of Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House and all other stakeholders is invited to Public Notice No. 31/2021 dated 30.03.2021 whereby the Mobile X-Ray Container Scanner (MXCS) installed at JNPCI Terminal/ Site of Jawaharlal Nehru Port was successfully commissioned and rolled out. 2 The other two Mobile X-Ray Container Scanners (MXCS) installed at APMT and NSICT/DP WORLD Terminals shall be rolled out for routine operation w. e. f. 25.06.2021 3. All the provisions and procedures as laid down in Public Notice No. 31/2021 dated 30.03.2021 and Standing order No. 07/2021 dtd. 30.03.2021 will be relevant and applicable for the MXCS instaled at APMT and NSICT/DP WORLD Terminals. 4 With regard to working hours of these Mobile Scanners, it is envisaged that: a) Mobile X-Ray Container Scanner located at NSICT/DP World site shall be operational24*7 b) Mobile X-Ray Container Scanner located at APMT site shall be operational during day time only between 09.00 am to 07.00 pm on all days. c) After 07.00 PM, all the containers selected for scanning at MXCS(APMT) wll invariably be diverted for scanning to DTCS without any endorsement from Customs. 5.
