DIN:20211279OA000000DB78 Public Notice No. 103/2021 The area admeasuring 94668.66 SQM of Container Freight Station located at Village-Khopta, Post- Koproli, Taluka –Uran, Disst. Raigad, Maharashtra was declared as Customs Area under section 8 of the Customs Act, 1962 vide notification No 09/2012 dated 30.08.2012 and M/s Transindia Logistics Park Pvt Ltd. was declared as “Custodian” of the notified area vide CFS Notification No. 11/2012 dated 05.09.2012 for Two (02) years under section 45 (1) and 141 (2) of the customs Act. 2.
M/s Transindia Logitic Park Pvt. Ltd. sold their Container Freight Station to M/s All Cargo Logistics Ltd pursuant to business transfer agreement dated 11.08.2016 and subsequently M/s All Cargo Logistics Ltd was declared as “Custodian” of the notified area vide CFS Notification No. 13/2016 dated 22.12.2016 for the period of Five (05) years. 3. Now, in exercise of the powers conferred under section 45 (1) and 141 (2) of the customs Act, 1962, I, Istikhar Baig, Commissioner of Customs (General) hereby renew the appointment of M/s All Cargo Logistics Ltd. as the Custodian of the imported goods received at the CFS M/s All Cargo Logistics Ltd until these are cleared for Home Consumption or are warehoused or are transhipped in accordance with the provision of chapter VIII of the Customs Act, 1962. Similarly, M/s All Cargo Logistics Ltd will also be the “Customs Cargo Services Provider” of the Export Cargo brought into said Container Freight Station for examination and stuffing till their exportation through Jawaharlal Nehru Port.
4. Further, in exercise of the power conferred under Regulation 10 of the “Handling of Cargo in Customs Area Regulation 2009”, I, Istikhar Baig, Commissioner of Customs (General) hereby renew the appointment of M/s All Cargo Logistics Ltd as The “Customs Cargo Services Provider” for the said Container Freight Station subject to the following conditions.
I. The Custodian M/s All Cargo Logistics Ltd approved as Customs Cargo Service Provider for the said CFS shall abide by all the provision of the Customs Act, 1962 and the Rules of the “Handling of Cargo in Customs Area Regulation 2009”, other Regulations, Notifications, Orders issued there under. II. The duration of the appointment M/s All Cargo Logistics Ltd as ‘Custodian’ and as “Customs Cargo Services Provider” shall remain for 30 days from 23.12.2021 unless otherwise suspended/revoked/ cancelled prior to the expiry of the said period. CCSP must provide the proper insurance documents for CFS, prescribed in letter dated 06.12.2021 in compliance to the Regulation 5(i) (iii) of HCCAR 2009, before the expiration of this notification and further renewal of this notification will be considered only after proper compliance of the said Regulation. III. The Commissioner of Customs (G) shall have the right to review the approval as “Customs Cargo Services Provider” before the completion of 30 days for failure to comply with the provisions of the Customs Act, 1962 in general and/or of “Handling of Cargo in Customs Area Regulation, 2009” in particular.
