Subject: Printing of EP Copy (Prescribed time limit) – Regarding.

Attention of the Exporters, Importers, Customs House Agents, Members of Trade and all the concerned is invited to the issues raised during the PTFC and other meetings to clear the pendency of EP Copy printouts of Shipping Bills filed prior to issue of CBEC Circular No. 55/2016-Customs, dated 23.11.2016. 2. After issuance of the CBEC Circular No. 55/2016-Customs, dated 23rd November, 2016 [F. No. 450/25/2013-Cus IV (Pt)] and subsequently issuance of Public Notice No. 152/2016 dated 24.11.2016, the EP Copy of Shipping Bills are not required. 3. Hence, to facilitate the trade and to clear the past pending EP printout, EP Copies Print Section has been made functional in four CFSs namely, JWC CFS, Punjab Conware CFS, MSWC CFS and Distripark CFS till 31st of January 2017. It is pertinent to mention that EP Copy Print will be available only in respect of those shipping bills, which were filed before issuance of Boards Circular No. 55/2016-Customs dated 23.11.2016. 4. It is once again reiterated that no EP Copy printouts will be made available after 31st January 2017. Difficulties, if any, in this regard may be brought to the notice of the undersigned.
